Loved the location and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The rooms were very well appointed although a bit small.
The size of the room.
Unusual (good) Paris location, next to Notre-Dame, peaceful neiborhood, with good shops and good walking distance to many attractions. Rooms are small but well appointed and quiet at night. Good quality breakfast (few options but all are very good - croissant, pain de chocolat, tea,..). Reasonable price for Paris.
Realise Paris is renowned for small sized bedrooms and our room matched expections. Extremely small. Could hardly move.
The staff at this charming hotel are fabulous! They are kind, courteous, and friendly - just outstanding. The hotel is well-located on Ile Saint Louis. It is quiet, clean and tastefully decorated. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else after our wonderful experience there this summer.
The ideal spot for two or three nights as this hotel provides a great deal of comfort with modern, renovated rooms yet retaining the original character of the buildings in this special part of the city. Our room on the 4th floor was particularly attractive. The peaceful atmosphere is definitely a bonus as most shops don't open until 10 am and there is little traffic early in the day. Plenty of restaurants and proximity to Notre Dame and Marais district.
The breakfast is overpriced for what is offered. There could be a better selection of cold meats and fresh cheeses; more cereals, such as muesli. However, the breakfast room is very pleasant and it's nice to be able to choose the room service if required.
The room was just excellent, and the location of the hotel is simply unique.
The best features were: 1. The Location of teh Hotel 2. The Welcome and customer Service
Rooms are small but for a short stay space is not a priority
Great room decor with a comfortable and great lighting and street views as well as a very nice bathroom. Perfect location and great value for the money. I would stay again and I recommend it.
Location is great. One can walk to the Louvre,Notre Dame, Saint,Chappelle, Latin Quarter and the Marais district. Plus good restaurants nearby.
Only 2 english speaking TV channels. Both news CNN and BBC.
The location was excellent - right in the middle of Paris. Overall, the location was quiet and there were a number of nice restaurants and cafes, markets and shops located very close to the hotel. Prime location!
The walls are 'thin'. I could hear my neighbors and vice versa.
The location of the hotel is perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good and ideal in this situation.
Beautifully kept (recently renovated.) Front staff changes often but is very helpful. The rooms are tiny, but apparently they fit the European definition of room size. Beds are a little hard, but better than too soft.
Great location and nice staff...very helpful, good English skills.
Breakfast policy...sign in elevator implied that individual items could be purchased for 3 euros each..man at desk said no. Which is it?
The staff were always very friendly and helpful. And the hotel was close to a lot of main sights and to the metro.
This was a charming hotel, in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The walls were a bit thin. The room was small but adequate.
